gamecube qoob and gameboy player

I would like to buy the Gameboy player for my Gamecube with Qoob Pro. Is it possible to plug it directly or should I do some change (see photo)

Just put the chip what you see on the pic on the side (housing) of the gamecube, than u can put a GB Player underneeth your GC. got some more questions?? Ask me on PM
