mehere jahre stimmt aber nicht bei gc das ging relativ fix los nach den isos mittels bba und pso ich würde eher sagen mehrere monate waren das.

ja, aber konnte man mit pso und dem bba die isos vernünftig spielen? in meinen augen war das meist eine riesen katastrophe!

jo das ging vernünftig ausser bei den games die den sound bei gamen streamed haben weil wegen pso der bba nur auf 10mbit lief. aber wenn man bei den games die musik rausgenommen hat gingen auch die gut. also ich fand das war für eine nintendo konsole schon luxus auf die art sicherheitskopien zu booten, verlgeicht man das mal mit nes oder snes.

Hallo, Backups scheinen zu klappen, was ja echt mal super wäre.

JSR let us know that On the french forum where was posted first the method for game dumping (by JSR and Gael360), some guy (Sliders58) tried to boot a backup with hotswap method (the original xbox360 dvd of a game and his backup) on xbox360 and it's apparantly working. The method is very difficult to do and we can not guarntee its validity by any means :-).

*UPDATE* - It seems that this does work but with a small restriction, for example you have Project Gothram Racing 3 original and you will only be able to boot a PGR3 backup.

With this knowledge surfacing, looks like maybe all those rumours about a chip being ready could be true. Something which stifles DVD protection and respectable patches for each title - but this could all get VERY messy.

du kannst damit nur eine kopie des spiels spielen, die bereits drin ist, und trotzdem kackt das ding nach ner weile ab. dazu kommt, das du beim swappen ein erheblich höheres risiko hast die DVD zu demolieren (und deine finger, bei den geschwindigkeiten kann man sich verdammt tief schneiden), als wie wenn du einfach vorsichtig mit deinen originalen umgehst.
für andere spiele bzw. homebrew kann und wird ein swaptrick niemals klappen, das liegt in der natur des kopierschutzes.. videos und level sind halt nicht signiert, darum laufen sie mit dem swap, aber alles was signiert ist wird sofort von der box als ungültig gesehen und nicht gelesen, swap oder nicht.
